PONDERING - Adult Acne |

 It just doesn’t make sense to me?
I have kids, a husband, a mortgage... how could I have acne too?
Well it’s true, adults can get pimples too. Where teen zits tend to erupt on the nose and forehead, our grown up version comes out on the lower half of our face.
How could this be you ask?
Turns out that the same excess oil that pops out during puberty is still racing around even now. Man... we grown ups can’t catch a break. Hormone fluctuations increase sebum production and when sebum mixes with dead skin cells and bacteria a zit comes up to say ‘hello’.
The best strategy is to thoroughly clean your skin to remove all oil and bacteria and slough off dead cells. Use a cleanser with an exfoliating ingredient such as glycolic acid.
Fight adult acne...and take back your face! |
